Overnight Trips

On overnight trips with EarthTrek Expeditions the following equipment is available for rent. When you reserve a tent in advance, it will be set up and waiting for you when you arrive. To guarantee a dome tent, foam pad, sleeping bag or cabin tent when you arrive you must reserve in advance.

Our deluxe dome tents are located at the rivers edge on a raised deck giving you a spectacular and private view of the river. Includes 2 large futon sleeping pads on a carpet floor.

CABIN TENT DESCRIPTIONS
Deluxe tents all have a covered deck with a built-in table and a view of the river. Our standard cabin tents are very roomy but they do not have a covered deck and built-in table, and they do not have a direct view of the river.

Small Cabin Tent: Each has a double wide bunk and one single size bunk. Sleeps 6 maximum. We have 5 deluxe small cabin tents and 2 standard small cabin tents available.

Large Cabin Tent: Each deluxe cabin tent has one double wide bunk and three single size bunks. Sleeps up to 10 people. Standard large cabin tents have four single size bunk beds sleeping up to 8 total.
We have 5 deluxe large cabin tents and 3 standard large cabin tents.

Deluxe Duplex Cabin Tent: Two small deluxe cabin tents on one laarge deck. Each tent has one double wide bunk and one single size bunk. Each tent sleeps up to 6 people with a combined total of 12 people in both tents. One deluxe duplex cabin tent available.

Large Dorm Cabin Tent: A large cabin tent with a covered deck with 6 single bunk beds. Sleeps 12 maximum. Great for singles groups or youth groups. Two dorm tents available.

NEW Duplex Cabin tent. Two deluxe cabin tents sharing one large deck. Great for 2 small families or one large family so mom and dad can have one tent and the kids take the adjacent tent. Rental rate: $90 per night for up to12 people.

If you are rafting during the summer months you seldom need a wetsuit but if you are rafting in the spring or during times of high water it may be necessary to wear a wetsuit. Wetsuits are always required on the Class IV North Fork trips. Wetsuits, spray jackets and wetsuit booties are available for rent at our South Fork Camp. We have a large selection available for rent so it is not necessary to reserve them in advance. Items can be rented individually or we have a package rate that includes all three items. If cool weather is expected on you trip it is a good idea to also bring wool or polypropylene clothing to wear under your wetsuit. Never wear cotton clothing under your wetsuit because wet cotton will make you colder.
